| Sharon M. Draper has written many books. A few of them are TEARS OF A TIGER, FORGED BY FIRE, THE BATTLE OF JERICHO, DARKNESS BEFORE DAWN, DOUBLE DUTCH, and ROMIETTE AND JULIO. FORGED BY FIRE won the Coretta Scott King Award in 1998. She lives in Cincinnati. For twenty-five years she was a high school English teacher. She is active in the National Council of Teachers in English. |
