Chapter 8
Primrose waited on the steps for uncle Jack to pick her up to go to the cinnamon house. When they got to the cinnamon house Primrose tripped and skinned her knee. Miss. Bailey went to get Primrose a bandage, while uncle Jack was talking with the family who wanted to purchase the house. Primrose leaned against uncle Jacks car for a while and when she was tired of that she took strides back and forth across the rode. After a while she felt some blood running down to wipe it, and the next thing you know she got hit by a truck. She was carried away by the ambulance and when she woke up she found out that her little toe was missing. And at last Mrs. Perfidy noticed that Primrose’s sweaters were missing.
