        Robert L. Stevenson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland 1850-1894.  Stevenson was not only a person that wrote book after book, he also wrote poems, and travel books known as his novels of adventures.  Stevenson devoted his self to writing essays, poems, novels, and books.  The way Robert became romantic with his self is when he wrote the book "Treasure Island" in 1883.   In 1879 he decided that he would go and met the love of his life, so he left and went to California with Fanny Osborne whom he married in France.  From the late 1800's Louis lived with his family in the South Seas, Samoa.  Stevenson  died on December 3, 1894, in Villima, Samoa.
