| 11 year old, Primrose Squarp has had a rough time without her parents, who are lost at sea. She still has the feeling that her parents are still alive, but everyone else believes that her parents are deceased. She waits for them to return at the docks almost everyday. Primrose goes through a lot of situations that she finds her way out of. She has to live with her uncle for a while, which is not there half of the time, so she goes to The Girl On The Red Swing, which a restaurant near by. The restaurant serves everything on that it has on a waffle. Primrose becomes great friends with the owner, Miss. Bowzer, who teaches Primrose how to cook, and gives her good advice about he situations. There are great recipes on showing almost everything they made in the book. |
