Primrose got to go to the cinnamon house after she learned how to bake the cinnamon rolls. But it was a trick for them to trick Miss. Bailey into their plan. Primrose called Miss Bowzer and asked her about the yeast and how to make cinnamon rolls. Miss. Bowzer taught Primrose how to make yeast at the Girl On The Red Swing. She also helped her make the cinnamon rolls and told her to take them home and back them so she could eat them hot. While they were cooking she told Miss. Bowzer about the time when she faked sick so he wouldn’t go out in the ocean with his crew.

A few nights later uncle Jack told Primrose that he had an appointment at the cinnamon house. So she baked the cinnamon rolls that night and wrapped them up. That next day Primrose went to Mrs. Perfidy’s house to get her a sweater that matched her outfit. When she got to Mrs. Perfidy they talked a while. While they were talking Primrose noticed that Mrs. Perfidy was kind of sort of loosing her memory. When Primrose went upstairs to get her sweaters they were gone.

Primrose waited on the steps for uncle Jack to pick her up to go to the cinnamon house. When they got to the cinnamon house Primrose tripped and skinned her knee. Miss. Bailey went to get Primrose a bandage, while uncle Jack was talking with the family who wanted to purchase the house. Primrose leaned against uncle Jacks car for a while and when she was tired of that she took strides back and forth across the rode. After a while she felt some blood running down to wipe it, and the next thing you know she got hit by a truck. She was carried away by the ambulance and when she woke up she found out that her pinky toe was missing. And at last Mrs. Perfidy noticed that Primrose’s sweaters were missing.

Primrose got released from the hospital a few days later. While she was in the hospital Uncle Jack had dinner with Miss. Honeycut. Miss. Honeycut called Primrose to her office and talked to her about her issues. Uncle Jack told Primrose what Miss. Honeycut had said about her, which was that she was an accident prone. When she got to class the teacher had decided to let her take home the guinea pig, and take care of it. when she was on her way home she couldn’t carry the cage so one of the boys that come over to play hockey carried it for her. When they got home they put the cage on the table and she thought they was going to leave, but they went straight to the gym. After her and uncle Jack had dinner she went down to the docks to wait for her parents.

Primrose was at the pier watching Mallomar (the dog) do little crazy puppy runs up and down the beach. While she was watching him, she also saw seals as they were swimming across the horizon. It had started to rain when Primrose got up to look closer at the seals but she did not know. Suddenly she heard someone shout, who was Miss. Honeycut, asking her "what she was doing in the rain." Miss. Honeycut and Miss. Perfidy had noticed Primrose from the church across the street in where they were getting ready to have a rummage sale. Mallomar had started barking loudly at Herman on the way home so Primrose noticed that Miss. Honeycut was getting tired of all of them. So Primrose told Miss. Honeycut to drop them off at The Girl On The Red Swing. When Primrose got to the restaurant Mrs. Bowzer was very busy. So when she was done she told Primrose she was going to teach her how to make tuna casserole, and they did.
