Laurie Halse Anderson was born in Chicago in 1947. She was on the eight children in her family. She graduated in 1969 from Barnard College in New York. The book Heidi influenced her to pursue her dreams in writing. She has released seven in writing. She has released seven albums for Warner Bros. including Big Science featuring the song "O Superman." It went to number two on the British pop charts. In 1999 she performed "Songs and Stories From Mobby Dick." Some of Miss Andersons other books are:
