Chapter Five

When Primrose got home from the sheriff’s office her uncle was cooking. She told him about her day and about her mothers coat in which was found on an island. They were talking about trying to trick Miss. Bailey by telling her that they cooked cinnamon rolls in her house, so she would stop putting all those jars of cinnamon in the oven to get the scent.  Primrose was telling uncle Jack about  the times when her mother was alive and the contest that they were having at school. They went to the neighbors house and she was baking cookies and they suggested for her to enter them in the cookie contest. But she wanted to be in the boiled potatoes contest. When she started it there was no stopping her. After their story uncle Jack told Primrose if she could cook cinnamon rolls then he would take her with him the next time he went to the cinnamon house.

Chapter Six

Primrose got to go to the cinnamon house after she learned how to bake the cinnamon rolls. But it was a trick for them to trick Miss.  Bailey into their plan. Primrose called Miss Bowzer and asked her about the yeast and how to make cinnamon rolls. Miss. Bowzer taught Primrose how to make yeast rise at the Girl On The Red Swing. She also helped her make the cinnamon rolls and told her to take them home and bake them so she could eat them hot. While they were cooking she told Miss. Bowzer about the time when she faked sick so her dad wouldn’t go out in the ocean with his crew.

Chapter Seven

A few nights later uncle Jack told Primrose that he had an appointment at the cinnamon house. So she baked the cinnamon rolls that night and wrapped them up. That next day Primrose went to Mrs. Perfidy’s house to get her a sweater that matched her outfit. When she got to Mrs. Perfidy, they talked a while. While they were talking  Primrose noticed that Mrs. Perfidy was kind of sort of loosing her memory. So, Primrose went upstairs to get her sweaters, but they were gone.

Chapter Eight

Primrose waited on the steps for uncle Jack to pick her up to go to the cinnamon house. When they got to the cinnamon house Primrose tripped and skinned her knee. Miss. Bailey went to get Primrose a bandage, while uncle Jack was talking with the family who wanted to purchase the house. Primrose leaned against uncle Jacks car for a while and when she was tired of that she took strides back and forth across the rode. After a while she felt some blood running down to wipe it, and the next thing you know she got hit by a truck. She was carried away by the ambulance and when she woke up she found out that her pinky toe was missing.
