Chapter 23

Gerald sees smoke and he knows it’s from his apartment.  So he runs up and finds that the house is full of smoke.  So then he runs to Angel’s bedroom to find her and Jordan.  But Jordan didn’t know that the house was on fire, so when Gerald said that he ran out the room heading toward the door.  Gerald grabs Angel and they head toward the door.  Gerald tripped on his way out but they find their way out of the apartment.

Chapter 24

The thing that Gerald tripped on in the fire was Jordan.  Jordan dies in the fire and they live happily ever after just the three of them.
